The Town has its own 7-member police force which patrols the Town and surrounding areas on a 24-hour basis. It utilizes the Prince George’s County Police radio system to channel all calls for police service to the Town Police. The County phone number for non-emergency calls is (301) 336-8800. Please call 911 for emergencies. With any routine calls or questions that do not require immediate attention, you may call the Town police station at (301) 474-6554. If the police are not available, leave a message on one of the officers’ voicemail and your call will be returned as soon as possible.
